Co-Creative Contribution Process

CO-CREATIVE CONTRIBUTION PROCESS (CCP)
– HOW IT WORKS

We in the Greater Carolinas Area have embraced the Co-Creative Contribution Process (CCP) as a way of inviting men to participate as fully as possible in the events they choose to attend, allowing different contributions for different men, based on their respective circumstances.

With CCP, a man can choose how much he will contribute to the cost to participate in an event. This provides a both/and: it allows men to contribute from their abundance and it allows men to contribute according to their circumstances. In most MKP Areas or Centers, men are required to pay a set fee.

We trust that your voluntary contribution for the event will help us cover the cost of the event. At the end of the event, we present to the men the cost (per man) of putting on the event and 20% is added to contribute to the community (overhead) expenses of the GCA. This 20% goes to pay for GCA expenses such as stipend for our Area Steward, bookkeeping expenses, capital equipment expenses, and sending our GCA reps to required annual meetings, etc.

After the event, we ask you to consider your experience of the event, and make a private contribution in the amount you choose. In making that choice, we invite you to consider the following:

  • the cost associated with holding this event/training.
  • the value you received from participating in this event/training: how it will affect your life, your family, your relationships, your work and your future.
  • your current financial situation.
  • your desire to help us bring this work/training to other men.
  • what your head, heart, and gut are telling you.

Going through the process of discovering what choice is right for you is part of the learning in MKP as new warriors.

We will gratefully accept the amount that you choose to contribute. Payment plans are acceptable.

Only the CCP Coordinator of the event and our Financial Team will know the size of your contribution, and they pledge to hold that information confidential.

After the event you will informed if we covered our costs or not, and if not, we will ask men to reassess their donation and make an additional donation if it is right for them to do so.

If you have any questions about this process, please email our Area Steward at GreaterCarolinas@mkp.org.

The ManKind Project is a global nonprofit [501 (c)(3)] charitable organization that conducts challenging and highly rewarding programs for men at every stage of life. The ManKind Project supports a global network of peer-facilitated men's groups where men mentor men through the passages of their lives. The ManKind Project empowers men to missions of service, supporting men to make a difference in the lives of men, women, and children around the world. We help men through any transition, men at all levels of success, men facing almost any challenge. Our flagship training, described by many as the most powerful men's training available, is the New Warrior Training Adventure. The ManKind Project (MKP) is not affiliated with any religious practice or political party. We strive to be increasingly inclusive and culturally aware.
